Investment plans in the Middle East offer more opportunities to Ocean Tech and Marine Science companies

Oceanology International Middle East will be launched in September against the background of key industry initiatives and developments that offer ocean tech companies and institutions in marine sciences to be part of shaping the next era of the region.

Let’s put the spotlight on to the UAE while it is dominating the global competitiveness rankings for 2020 in eight environmental indicators and also placing first in the MENA region in 19 of them.

Under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, OiME will be hosted in Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates. Abu Dhabi is an easy access city from all GCC countries with a close proximity to Indian Ocean rim countries. This ideal location offers easy access to the Oceans and Subsea community to meet at one place.

The strong government support sets the back ground where OiME will be launched.  The event will gather more than 3,000 professionals including decision-makers from offshore oil & gas, marine science, aquaculture, marine renewables and environment protection industries paving the way for manufacturers and suppliers to position themselves as industry leaders and get their share of the regional market.

With OiME’s signature hosted buyer programme, global suppliers are given a platform to showcase their products and solutions to a captive audience of active and qualified buyers who are on the lookout for the latest innovations in the ocean technology business.

The event location at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) provides access to a marina allowing for live on-water demonstrations – one of the most compelling ways to showcase your products in action.
